Vendor show, lighted parade highlight Monona holiday kickoff

   Monona’s annual holiday festival will be held Dec. 1, with a breakfast, vendor show, supper and lighted holiday parade.

   This year’s parade will see a new sponsor and new route. The MFL Men’s Club has stepped in to put together the parade, which will begin at 6 p.m. Lineup will be in front of the elementary school on South Page Street. The route will go east on Chestnut Street, north on Main Street to East Center Street, where it will wrap up near the community Christmas tree.
