Tanniehill scores three touchdowns as Bulldogs win second straight

MFL MarMac senior Jamarr Tanniehill is making the most of his lone season of high school football. Friday he scored three touchdowns, leading the Bulldogs to their second straight victory, 48-20 over Jesup.

Tanniehill, who caught four passes for 76 yards and a score and ran the ball three times for 51 yards and two touchdowns, has 216 total offensive yards and five touchdowns in the past two games as the Bulldogs scored back-to-back wins for the first time in two years.

“He’s a special kid – you can count on him to make plays,” Bulldog coach Dan Anderson said. “He doesn’t drop the ball, he runs hard, he’s got good vision. When there’s not a hole there he knows to bounce the play outside.”

Tanniehill is playing football for the first time this season. Anderson said he’s had Tanniehill in class and talked to him about coming out this year.
